The kids sure had a good time on Halloween! We went to Chino Valley for their tailgating trick-or-treat party. Local businesses hand out candy from the backs of vehicles. Then we took them to Appaloosa Meadows, a fancy suburb off Road 3, where they went up one street and got more candy than at the tailgating party. Maybe we'll head into Williams next year! Caitlyn was a good witch this year and Austin was a mummy, obviously. By the end of the evening, Austin's butt had come unraveled!

The other morning, Carl came home with a "lump" in the jacket that he was carrying. It turned out to be Daisy, a Rottweiler/Boxer mix. Isn't she cute? She fits right into the rest of the "pack."

Well, we finally got the sows moved to their permanent home. We also built them a beautiful A-frame to help protect them from the winter weather that is just around the corner. Aren't they getting meaty? I call them "Oinky Piggies" and when I go out to feed them, I always pat their rumps and say, "MMM, ham...!"
